YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mr. Primtivo Suarez passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Maplecrest Nursing Home in Struthers, Ohio.
He was born on June 9, 1931 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Emiliano Suarez and Fabiana Vidot.
He moved to Campbell, Ohio in 1953 to work for LTV Steel Company which he retired in 1983.
He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Campbell, Ohio.
He was a member of Sons of Borquien Club.
He enjoyed playing dominos, his garden, raising roses and watching the Cleveland Indians.
He leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Dimas Suarez (Irma) of Youngstown, Francisco Suarez (Adi) of New York, Eladia Suarez of Florida and Cleofe Suarez of Youngstown and his caregivers, Miria Rodriguez and Cythina Garcia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Enrique Suarez, Victor Suarez and Erenesta Suarez.
Calling hours will be at the Conley & Vanden Berg Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m.
He will sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepard St. Lucy’s St. Rose of Lima Church Campbell, Ohio.
Interment will be at the Lake Park Cemetery.
