YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man was charged with burglary and obstructing official business after officers had to escort him out of a woman’s home.

Friday afternoon, a woman reported a man had come uninvited to her house, kicking in her front door, according to a police report.

When officers arrived, they noted in the report that the front door was wide open in below-freezing temperatures. They said the door had a significant amount of damage — the wooden door frame was split, not allowing the door to securely shut.

As officers were talking to the victim, the suspect, 18-year-old Michael Arroyo, came up to them and said he was just grabbing some belongings. But, the report states that the woman said he does not live with her.

Police handcuffed Arroyo and took him to jail. According to the police report, on the way to jail, police asked the man where he lived, to which he replied, “I don’t stay nowhere — I be everywhere. My mom been put me out.”

According to the Youngstown Police Department, police had previously been sent to the house for other incidents involving Arroyo a few days earlier.
