Power outage canceled a number of classes at YSU

Youngstown State University said the outage was campus-wide and facilities worked to fix the problem

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A power outage on Youngstown State’s campus canceled several classes Wednesday night.

The power went out around 5:15 p.m., according to a student. It was reported back on around 8 p.m.

The university said the outage was campus-wide and facilities worked to fix the problem.

Some traffic lights downtown were out as well.
