YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Paul Elmo Stere, 96, died Wednesday evening, January 24, 2018 at Heritage Manor.
He was born June 5, 1921 in Youngstown, a son of Walter Hastings and Bessie Nelson Stere and was a lifetime area resident.
Mr. Stere was a car detailer at Sweeney Chevrolet, loved history, cars and was simply a kind-hearted man.
He leaves two brothers, James (Nancy) Stere and Carl (Jeri) Stere both of Hubbard and two sisters, Margaret Roth of Youngstown and Helen Jones of Hubbard. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Glenn Stere; a twin sister, Pauline Crytzer and stepmother, Ruth Stere.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Howland United Methodist Church, 730 Howland Wilson Road NE, Warren, OH 44484.
There are no calling hours.
Paul’s final resting place will be at Fair Oaks Cemetery at a later date.
