COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Tyler J. Humphreys, age 35, passed away suddenly at his home Sunday, March 4, 2018.
He was born March 2, 1983 in Salem, the son of Ronald L. Humphreys and Kathy L. (Jackson) Morgan.
Tyler was a 2002 graduate of Salem High School and an avid (some would say, obsessive) fan of the Michigan Wolverines. He had a great sense of humor and the ability to make people in his life feel special, always putting others first with his compassion and understanding. Tyler was the best Daddy to his son, Jaxon, who was the light of his life, along with being a loving husband to Lauren. He also had a special bond with his brothers Jason and Billy along with his sister Brandi. He often said that he was “the favorite uncle” to his many nieces and nephews. Tyler was loved by many.
Survivors include his wife, Lauren L. (Hack) Humphreys, whom he married May 28, 2011; a son, Jaxon R. Humphreys at home; father, Ronald (Darlene) Humphreys of Salem; mother, Kathy (Craig) Morgan of Salem; maternal grandfather, Billie Jackson; in-laws, Rick and RoseAnn Hack of Salem; a sister, Brandi Harrod of Salem; two brothers, Jason (Mandy) Humphreys of Concord, North Carolina and William (Amanda) Humphreys of Canfield and nine nieces and nephews.
